Operations Director Cmgr FCMI
David is the Operations Director, highly skilled in needs assessment, strategic and operational planning, leading organisational change and overall business development.
With over 20 years senior management experience, David has worked in six different service industries, in pressured environments, where both compliance and high performance are critical.
For the last six years, David has applied his skills and experience of estates and facilities management within the public and private sector. At ESG, he brings clarity to the implementation of the solution. He helps our clients with prioritising and delegating facilities management tasks. He motivates and inspires teams to develop their portfolio and keep project momentum to ensure success. David is a structured, organised and energetic professional who operates with high integrity and honesty, making him an incremental asset to the group.

Managing Director MRICS, FIoD, BSc
Mark is the Managing Director of Estate Strategy Group and has over 15 years senior level experience in the strategic management of estates and facilities.
Over the years, Mark has assisted a number of organisations in delivering their transformation and strategy, coordinating change management plans, developing management teams and planning for future capital and revenue programmes.
Mark has been a Trustee of the Salvation Army where he was responsible for their portfolio across the UK and has also directed the portfolios for Inner Temple, St Andrews Healthcare, Homerton NHS Trust, Wexham NHS Trust, Frimley Health and Queen Victoria NHS Trust.
Other organisations that Mark has worked for include Care City, CDS (Bedfordshire), Eden futures, Disabilities Trust, East Area Health Service Network, North East London Foundation Trust, NHS National Services Scotland.
As Managing Director at Estate Strategy Group, Mark leads the team in analysing initial estate problems. Mark works closely with our clients to carry out what we call a root cause analysis. It’s from this data we offer options and proposals, test the appropriate solution and oversee its implementation.

Jack Mabbutt has joined the team at Estate Strategy Group as an apprentice and is training to become a Chartered Surveyor at London South Bank University.
ESG is very pleased to support Jack as he learns to incorporate skills and theories from his studies into the working environment. Jack has been working with the team meeting new contacts and he has been developing key skills such as policy creation.
Estates Management Consultant
Jeff is managing Estates on behalf of ESG clients in order to ensure they are compliant and efficient. With an estates background covering over 30 years, Jeff has a wealth of experience both in traditional estates maintenance and mental health environments. Jeff is also a Director on the Board of the Design in Mental Health Network.
Lauren Johnston-Wood is the Marketing Manager for Estate Strategy Group. She studied for an Art Foundation course at Suffolk New College and Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University.
Lauren manages the social media, marketing and communications for Estate Strategy Group and is using her creative skills to help clients and staff understand the values and services that ESG offers.
Project Manager and Financial Support Officer
Michael is supporting the Clients of Estate Strategy Group with his financial and project management skills. Michael is a Chartered Accountant who brings a creative, adaptive approach to the change management process. His background is in finance and business support within innovative, demanding and deadline driven organisations such as the NHS. He has experience in matching organisational objectives to finance team structures, promoting staff development and training.
Wes Farmer is from Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently working as a global intern at the Estate Strategy Group, studying at the Foundation for International Education in London. He is a Junior and Finance major and Political Science minor at Elon University in North Carolina.
Wes is passionate about entrepreneurship, estate management and organisational leadership and development. In the United States, he is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson hoping to gain insight into the estate management and consulting side of the industry.
